in my opinion, no ASAS-afflicted football buff should be too much stressed about the world cup matches.They will be on many sats , and if worse comes to worst, one can watch them on terrestrial channels.Of course there are the fussy fans who would prefer to watch the games on a HD channel;the choice then becomes a bit limited.Since I don't mind SD, a combo of Ayefen and endeevee/kwese should suffice for me.
SABC, TBC, Kwese Fsports, Bamba sports, NTV, AiFN sports, SQny 3SPN, TVM Maldives..etc. don't be surprised to see Wasafi TV broadsting world cup games.. World cup should be no problem. European football remains a problem ..
The world cup is more available because FIFA is more flexible and prefers to broaden the world cup's global audience and mainly feed off the billions of dollars in advertising monies paid by the world's leading brands such as Coca Cola,Adidas,Budweiser and so on.This is unlike other football competitions like UEFA,la liga,premier league that are tightly controlled by pay TV broadcasting behemoths like BT Sport and Sky who bid for, and buy, the broadcasting rights (for billions of dollars) before reselling to regional players such as big brother,bein and so on.I would imagine kina big brother and the like are obviously not too happy about the worldcup coverage being too 'open'
TV Congo on SES will have worldcup - though picture quality is not good.
Some FIFA members are given fund and their TV a broadcasting rights free; for their selfish based grounds they decide to sell those world cup rights to Pay TV. Damn them!
