one 90cm dish called " discovery challenger" which lnb are you using?

Uko sawa kabisa ndugu! Infact whatever is posted here, is open for all to see! The only distinction is members have the privilege to post, pm etc.

My advise to him is to find FTA receiver and scrap whatever that is of interest to him with no worries or fear.
In the end despite the sweating and sometime scorching sun experiences, you get some smile up on your face knowing that you have achieved something out of your painful experience.

Folks, am seeking a solution to the elusive 3740 H tp on 68.5 neighborhood. I got it on a 180cm pf, but think the type of lnb might be the problem (the skew is the best after trying 360 degrees all round). I got a supermax 777 rated 17degrees K and on a freesat 7 combo, the signal hits 63 from morning till around 6pm when it suddenly drops to below 30.

Question is- is anyone using a different lnb that ensures a stable signal on the bird 24/7? Or put differently; There is consensus that for ku- reception, the inverto ultra black single is the go-to lnb for stubborn tps; does an equivalent lnb type ( not necessarily made by inverto ) exist for the c-band?

Hehehe! That my friend is the bitter- sweet taste of it. Kind of you love me seek me.

I share your very concern coz I have 180cm with gulf star cband lnb and my experience is just the same.
However! I did my homework but its kinder of like still in the proposal stage. The reason for that is I made up my mind to invest first in an lnb before I go for the Big ugly dish of 8 feet, well! At least for our East African standard though(who made it a standard anyway?) So I thought if I could get top of the line c band lnb ( in terms of a hunter for the weak signal ) I would test it with my 180 cm first before I dig in to 240 cm.
Another reason is I believe in squeezing on what I have to its last drop.

So I made a literature review and this is what I found people calling the best!
TITANIUM C1-PLL.
As the title suggests, its made by the Titanium Satellites.

Like I said its still in literature review, for the reason that I ordered it and its on its way from USA and presumably by Friday next week it might be here.

This Lnb you can only buy it from AMAZON or EBay, its not available in Alibaba or Aliexpress. Infact buying from themselves its prefereble as you are sure of the quality.
Pricewise its 38 usd if you buy from theirweb where you get the lnb itself with a prime focus scalar ring. If your dish is an offset, you have to add 18 USD on top of it for an offset scallr ring .
For shipping they charge 23.25 to TZ ( Based on my location. For your location it might be different) making it 62.5 Usd
But I ordered it from their EBay account for the total of 60.57 USD including shipping.

Once I get it, I'll report back for the fact that it might be a different story, by the way someone has to take the risk first. However, based on my google research I have this belief that this is it. Let's pray that the slogan that says you get what you paid for works.
At least for me this is what I have to say, sorry that its a bit messy.
