Of late i have tried Apstar on 6ft, i dont think you can receive any of those pv that easily, 2.4m is the deal here

Good news...managed to nab the eutelsat 7A...had to use some geeky methods😀...used an iPad app called "satellite pointer-align your dish"...really helped me out....showed me "azimuth", "elevation" and "lnb skew"...got it almost immediately. I promise minimal shouting was involved 😉....any newbie like me should consider that app

If you are locked on Astra 2F, please beware of three Ghanaian FTA channels (xyz tv, Thunder tv and ice tv) airing hardcore p*rn from 4am local East African time.
ice tv and thunder tv are on Astra 2f frequency 11595 V dvb-s2 qpsk SR 30000 while xyz tv is on frequency 12525 V dvb-s2 qpsk SR 30000.

Delete or lock the above channels especially ice tv.

General Manager for Ice TV, Samuel Owusu Asare said his media company cannot desist from showing pornography films on their channels regardless the complaints made to the National Media Commission (NMC) and the Ministry of Information.

Two broadcasters, Messrs Tommy-Annan Forson and James Kwasi Oberko, have made a complaint against three television stations in Ghana for showing films with pornographic scenes on their channels.

The two, on Monday, 12th June, 2017, presented their complaint to the National Media Commission and the Ministry of Information against TV XYZ, Ice TV and Thunder TV, for showing these films to their audience.

“We have realized that these TV stations are showing things that are against the media commission’s standards and as concerned citizens, we thought it wise to make a complaint to the right authorities, to prompt them to take the necessary actions,” James stated.

But in a rebuttal, Mr Owusu Asare said since there isn’t any law banning TV stations from showing movies.

He added that, the porn movies are shown at ‘Ghost’ hours to ensure children don’t watch them.

“If there is no law against it then what is the problem? If something isn’t good then fine but if there is no law restraining it then there is nothing I can say or do…”

“Some people are just been hypocrites. If you’re a good parent, how can you leave your kid to stay up late till 1 am? Then it means you as a parent have a problem. It is aired at a ghost hour for adults only. I don’t see anything wrong with it. They want it…” he explained.

The General Manager of ICE TV said their audience have provided positive feedback thus until they protest, the TV station will continue to satisfy their viewers’ interest.

“From our research, we have adults, married people calling us and giving us feedback on social media. If you check more than 95 per cent of almost 300 comments shows we’re doing well…”

“It’s a business. We satisfy our viewer’s choice. On some Christian TV’s they air fetish priests’ shows and they claim its business. Till we are told it’s against a law then we won’t stop unless our viewers tell us they don’t want it shown anymore…” he stressed on Neat FM on Tuesday.

Following the release of the latest software for Strong SRT4950h v.417p dated 10th April 2017, drivers based on Chipset MediaTEK MTK7601 USB Wi-Fi adapter/dongle were added in the new software.

It is now possible to connect Strong SRT4950h to a Wi-Fi network using USB Wi-Fi adapters based on both RaLink RT5370 [2dBi] & MediaTEK MTK7601 [5dBi] chipstets. I tested both these Wi-Fi adapters on s\w v.4.17p with 100% success rate.

BL-Link BL-wn150a is a 150mbps wireless USB adapter based on MediaTEK MTK7601 [5dBi] Chipset. Find info here: here

Generic LV-UW02 is a 150mbps wireless USB adapter based on RaLink RT5370 [2dBi] Chipset. Find info: here

Tested RaLink RT5370 Wi-Fi adapter on s/w v.416p/ v.4.15p/ v.4.10p/ v.4.07 but registered a "Wi-Fi Doesn't Exist". As mentioned by #RankSat, RaLink RT5370 Wi-Fi adapter seems to connect seamlessly in earlier software versions [s/w v.3.xx].

youTUBE is the only working on-line app; Connecting to IPtv Servers- Apollo, My tv, Golden, Royal, Panda & VOD registers a "Server Error". Maybe this can be nullified with a valid IPtv Server account.

Unfortunately s/w v.4.17p will disable the Royal IPtv activated free gift account in s/w v.4.10p/ v.4.15p & v.416p.

Down-grading the software from s/w v.4.17 will not re-activate the Royal IPtv free gift account, do not upgrade decoder if you have reliable 3G connectivity to run the current Royal IPtv free gift account.

NSS-12 Ku-band possible, the signal is strong. Y1A only western beam possible, with lotsa effort; eastern beam a tad bit difficult. Generally, it's difficult to combine satellites more than 15-18 degrees apart in a multi-LNB set-up that isn't motorized.

Where are you located? 57E Cband i believe its possible but there is no longer anything to write home about, for Ku band most are Ethiopian channels . 52E unless you are located in the northern parts of Kenya,Uganda or Somali you cant get anything meaningful as parasite. Try and give us results.. More grease to your elbows.
