I had the same problem, but was because the funguwos were not well put in there. Once I had the right one, no problem since then, even after there had been a change.

Do you have both boxes for comparison? Because i dont. All i know is 4955 is a good box because i have it. Very impressive....

I have both boxes.I was really disappointed by this srt4955.The following are issues

When key changes on mtn it displays scrambled for few seconds before opening again unlike srt4950m.

The image of sp24 is not stable as if is from iptv streaming.

Audio and video of sp24 are not synchronized as audio is ahead of the video.

Does not open tandberg channels.

The only positive out of it is opening K24@70E.

No i think 4m and above. NB its Ku band

Flying with KQ P/Africa srt 4922(old is gold) & 8ft offset dish i landed on Yahsat 1A. I brought back all tps but its only 12015h of Tolo hd, lemar hd ,ATN (Ariana Television Network) and Varzish Sport HD which I was interested in,but of them all, i only nabbed Varshish Sport HD. Gags Tv @88%, RT News HD and Fashion one 4k HEVC/UHD tp @91%, most of Mena beam tps quality ranges between 82% - 90% and East beam 65% - 70%.

Public broadcaster NHK launched a satellite channel that will broadcast a mix of 8K and 4K content as it prepares to launch full-scale 8K transmissions in time for the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.
The channel will be on air daily from 10am until 5pm, with extended hours during the Rio Olympics.
The broadcaster was instrumental in the development of high-definition TV, starting broadcasts in an early analog format in 1989, and has been working on 8K for two decades. It first demonstrated 8K in 2002, when many homes hadn't even transitioned to high-def TV.
For now, consumer reception equipment isn't available, so NHK has set up several public viewing areas at broadcasting stations across the country.
It hopes the test broadcasts will be replaced by regular directy-to-home transmissions in 2018, in time for full coverage of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics

You can just try by deleting the particular tp & key, then type it again. I don't remember well what I did. You have to be diligent in looking for it among the very many entries.

Thanks for sharing, but always share tp and other important info to avoid unnecessary loads of those $$$$ channels we get in untargeted scanning.

Also make sure you don't have two or more ident of the same tp. Its True that you delete both tp & ident and input afresh.

You are far away from footprint map of yahsat, even here in east of Africa is miracle we are receiving Mena beam with 1.2m/4ft offset dish & 1.5-2.4m East beam.
