My Nilesat dish was toppled over by the wind ( I hope).... I just cant manage to grab all TP's which I used to get.
Espescially the HD including Bein sports News etc... any suggestions

Check whether it got a dent/slight fold that maybe affecting the the way the signals are being reflected to the LNBs in comparison to prior to the incident...

Check also the straightness of the arms and their alignment to the LNB holder.

Hi guys,
My telly has built-in free-view, I have plugged the normal antenna and I get loads of channel however most of them are encrypted. what's the way around to decrypt them or to watch them?

Your assistance is highly appreciated

The weakest TP is that which has City 7 Dubai, France24 and that of CN@ (11977 V and 12226 H SR27500). Try this and you should be able to get all other TPs. I am not sure whether Bainsp@rt news is still in this satellite, I reckon it went to Eutelsat 25B @25.5 E.

Look for CI module from the preferred service provider like d*s*thieves. One particular module sold in Kenya is the GOTV's G.o Card, which works with any digital tv.

hello satmates is it wise to replace the mesh on a 12 feet dish with readily available mesh from hardware stores or this will compromise the quality of reception?
yeah of course the smaller the holes the better.those who fabricate use mesh from hard wares.you can also use flat galvanized sheet

Yes it is wise. I saw one replaced like that using thin flat Iron sheets (about a foot wide), cut as Loong triangular strips Which lie on the metal frame. Alternatively, they could even lie on the mesh itself as long as it does not interfere with the curvature(curve)- the mechanism by which waves are gathered and concentrated to the focal point.

Be also careful that what you use to fasten them on the metal framework doesn't warp them up. Go for it.
