Hi all. Any one in Nairobi (Kenya) and its environs getting Astra 2f with 120cm offset or 1.8m primeset dish? Tried and failed.

Hello Qimeu Sir, Astra 2f West african beam is receivable with a 180cm pf with a good lnb. i have tried in Nyayo Embakasi and got good signal. i was tracking Bein and got Aljazeera tp. with a 6pf in very good condition its achievable.

A conical scalar ring (which I presume is what you're referring to) is intended to adapt an offset dish for C-band reception. It's not a software to be able to segregate irdeto from p'vu signals for instance.

Well said. Any receivable c band signal should check in regardless of the encryption used.

i also used a stargold fuji single make sure you hit 69% and above on 4922 on Nilesat MBC package or stable European beam on 7e. Use 11596v30000 to track. 28E

unless you are going wrong a 240pf should give you wonderful results. with very stable signals even on parasite Is20 if you desire. check your base if its flat.

Bw kogi pls try scanning 78.5e. Had same problem with 3880. When I scanned it popped up on this satellite and with very strong signal...

Not that i dont get ap* am talking about 3880 & 3720.

My friend i have a small portable tv which i hook to the decoder plus permanent power cable to the roof. Imagine sitting in the sun while the decoder is scanning trying to shield myself with the dish shadow. Neighbours think i work for weather department reporting up to minute details of how hot the sun is, using satellite. Anyway i have blind scanned over 1000 times all i get is a flicker of green and thats it. Lnb i use is Es21 Skew @ 3:50 which i see others use from posts here.

If you have a supermax 777 in good condition, use it. this might resolve this. es21 recalculates some frequencies and this can be bothersome.
