Many countries lack centralized tracking systems for racist incidents. Indeed, a surprising number of countries do not maintain track of its citizens' race and ethnicity, making tracing racist acts against them extremely impossible.

As a result, researchers frequently turn to more grassroots methods like personal surveys—and while racism may not appear to be a particularly sophisticated characteristic, assessing whether or not someone is racist based on a simple questionnaire can be tough. All of this is to say that identifying the world's most racist countries is a challenging task, and the results might vary from study to study.

The World's Most Racist Countries (Washington Post and Business Tech results combined)

According to the conclusions of the survey, India is the most racist of the countries examined. India, located in southern Asia, is the world's second most populous country, with 1.3 billion inhabitants. Residents of the country, according to polls, exhibit a high level of intolerance for persons with darker skin, whether they are of foreign ancestry (particularly Africans) or simply darker-skinned Indians. India has a low immigration rate and a small international population. As a result, the bulk of the people that live there are of Indian descent.

NOTE : In recent years, two separate and independent racism studies tested a total of 85,000 people from 61 nations, yielding results that differed from the BCR2020 but were comparable.

The first was a Washington Post poll done in 2013. The Key and basic question asked of each participant was if they would be comfortable living with someone of a different race. The second was a business experiment conducted in 2016. In a tech poll, respondents were asked if they had ever seen or experienced racism.
