Tangazo hilo linasomeka hivi: " REOPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY AFTER TEMPORARY CLOSER" shida yangu hapa ni neno "closer" nadhani neno sahihi lingetakiwa kuwa "CLOSURE".
Angekuwa mwanafunzi tungesema "mbumbu" je chuo hiki tukiiteje?

Press Release
REOPENING OF THE UNIVERSITY AFTER TEMPORARY CLOSER
On 21st December, 2011, some students at St. John's University of Tanzania (SJUT)
Main/Mazengo Campus held an illegal strike over the status of their 2nd Quarter Meal
& Accommodation allowances from HESLB. Certain students made the false
accusation that the University had the money and was withholding it from them. Even
after been shown proof of the fact the money was not at SJUT, which was confirmed
by HESLB itself, students refused to disperse and return to normal activities. This left
the University with no choice but to send the students home for an extended
Christmas break on that day in order to insure safety and security of staff, students
and University property.
HESLB allowances for 2400 students have now come to SJUT and the University has
started distributing funds to those students who have completed their registration as
required by HESLB and the University.
All SJUT Main Campus students are hereby notified that:
1. The University reopens on 2nd January, 2012.
2. There will be a re-registration of all the students concerned at the Dodoma
Jamhuri Stadium, stating at 8:00am on the 2nd January 2012.
3. Students should make sure that they are re-registered within two days (2nd to
3rd January, 2012). Failure to do so, a student shall be automatically
discontinued from studies. Classes resume on the 4th January, 2012.
4. To be re-registered, students should have completed paying all University fees
by 29th December, 2011.
5. During re-registration, students must show fees payment receipts or bank payin-
slips which bear their names and registration numbers.
6. Every student must have filled a commitment form promising not to take part
in any unlawful strike in future. The commitment form should be downloaded
from the University website.
7. No main campus student will be allowed to enter the University without being
re-registered. Re-registered students must show re-registration documents at
the main entrance leading to the Administration block.
8. Students are further notified that for a whole two weeks, from 2nd to 15th
January, 2012, all students must have with them re-registration documents in
case members of staff shall want to satisfy themselves that a particular student
is re-registered.
9. On-campus student residents should download accommodation contract forms
from the University website for re-registration purposes in their halls of
residents.
10. All students note that: They should show their permanent ID's during reregistration.
While the screening process of ring leaders is going on, however, the following
students are suspended from studies until further notice.
