Why Tanzania need support to fight Against climate change?
Tanzania like other third world countries has started to experience significant climate variability and climate change.
Research done by Orindi and Murray(2005),yanda and Mubaya(2011)and NAPA(2007) have shown some of the threat of climate change in Tanzania Especially in Tourism sector.
The ice caps on mount Kilimanjaro has been dissapearing with serious implications for the Rivers that depend on ice melt for their flow.
Several rivers are already drying out in the summer season due to depletion in melting water and recent projections suggest that if the recession continues at its present rate,the ice cap may have disappeared completely by the year 2025,mountain Kilimanjaro its The highest mountain in Africa continent and among of the world heritage.
Its time now to change, As youths Activists, Government leaders, heavy industries investors and normal people,let us joining our hand together to fight Against climate change in order to save our world heritage!
