Development: Paul kagame Vs Juvénal Habyarimana
Did Paul Kagame build Rwanda's economy?. The FACT is he destroyed it. I find it amazing when ignorant people keep saying that the Rwanda has developed economically under Kagame. Listen, you don't need a PhD in economics to understand that the opposite is true. In this case Habyarimana did alot and he wins Kagame when it comes to developing the country economically.

Do you know what is the most expensive asset for any country in the world? Infrastructure. Do you want examples of what Habyarimana buit and Kagame did not? Seat tight, fasten your seat belts.

(1) Habyarimana built inter-provincial roads (Gitarama-Kibuye construction went on even during the war 1990-1994). What has Kagame done? He can't even fix Gikongoro-Cyangugu highway.

(2) Habyarimana built all major stadiums we have in Rwanda. What stadium did Kagame build?

(3) Habyarimana built King-Faisal hospital and other major hospitals we have in Rwanda today. What did Kagame do except changing the names into his name?

(4) Habyarimana built major airports in Rwanda. What did Kagame do except changing names around? He can't even build an additional runway for Kanombe international airport?

(5) Habyarimana buit all major military barracks we have in Rwanda today. What did Kagame do?

(6) Habyarimana built the major Mille Colline, Meridien, Diplomates, and all major hotels we have in Rwanda to this day. What did Kagame do except changing names around?

(7) Habyarimana built most ministerial office buildings that we have in Rwanda, and most SOE buildings such as electrogaz, Rwandatel, Caisse Social, Banque populaire, Banque commercial, Banque de Kigali, etc. What did Kagame do?

I can talk about Butare University, Nyakinama, SM that you renamed KIST and other infrastructure that was already in Rwanda when Kagame arrived; I can go on and on. Unless you are a underage or immature enough to see that Kagame has done nothing but destroy all the country had by imposing a war of aggression on a peaceful and prosperous country,

You should refrain from giving Kagame any credit for Rwanda's economic development. He does not deserve one, period. Kagame focuses on building shiny stuff (only in Kigali by the way, while cities like Butare have gone back to stone age in terms development).

Basically it's like Kagame is spending Rwanda's money buying shinny toys for kids. Kids will enjoy shiny toys for 2 hours, destroy them or outgrow them. Rwandans are not kids, we are grown-ups and need real progress, not bogus progress.

Also, real progress always goes hand-in-hand with freedom of the people, or it does not last. Dear compatriots, "bread today, freedom tomorrow" is only a recipe for disaster.

you real need prayers dear Niwemugizibanabi! so since the independence in 1962 until 1994(before you fled the country to DRC) you think it was not your government duty to build those basic infrastructure? you will find them everywhere in the world, even Somali which is at war for almost 3 decades to date, I can guarantee you, they have all those you mentioned... "bread today, freedom tomorrow?" what about "bread tomorrow and freedom tomorrow?" remember this is what was happening to Tutsis back then! a million of them never seen that "tomorrow" Mr Niwemugizibanabi... help me please, you mean freedom of the people to kill others? no thanks!
the problem is; most of you don't dare to Rwanda and see the real developments, listening to jMali's propaganda will keep you in the hiding while here in Rwanda we forgive even people like Rwarakabije if they properly ask for forgiveness... talking of achievements? here we go #250Achieved...
