[h=2]www.tupomoja.com;[/h]Tupomoja.com, I dont know where the this website came from, I have never heard of it before I just came across it on facebook with more than 12000 likes and I wondered what was all the buzz about this website was and so I had to like it first and visit the website after finding it.
I first could not find it, because after a quick glance, I really thought it was tupopamoja.com, a name that made sense in my mind after looking at it. I tried typing the address in my browser with no luck, then I had to go back to my previous tab and look again to see that the actual domain was tupomoja.com instead of tupopamoja.com. So the first thing I would like to point out about this website is that the domain is a bit confusing, I really dont understand what the domain is about.
Secondly I did a search before for free classified ads Tanzania for those who are keeping up and reviewed the websites that came up, but I didnt find this website tupomoja.com should be on my results since it offers such services, so another thing I am pointing out is the lack of search engine optimization, I really liked the website when I found it but I wondered why I had not found it before when I was wondering through the search engines. If Tupomoja.com does not optimize their website for SEO probably this post will come higher in results than it when someone tries to search for it, Im Just saying.
The design of Tupomoja.com is spectacular; I like the colors, very easy to search for what you want as soon as you get into the website, the navigation is pretty clear. Its a new design for a listings website that I have never seen I like the video that explains about how to use the site, a very little flaw on the design though is the fact that I didnt see a submit listing button on the homepage I had to look for it inside, I advice them to put a submit listings button or something on the homepage for easy access, but all in all I applaud the team behind it for the design. And just for that its going to be one of the featured website for sometime as of this post.
What else, the speed is spectacular too. The load time of this site is around 2.56 seconds, leaving zoomtanzania behind with 2.73 seconds, but buyandselltanzania still leads in load time with 1.17 seconds, this information is from http://tools.pingdom.com, based on servers in the u.s.a, so in ads listing websites in Tanzania Tupomoja.com has good speed on load.
I like the fact that it has acquired multiple domains, tupomoja.com also has acquired tupomoja.co.tz and they all point to the same site. It is a really professional way of handling things if you are in the online business you wouldnt want someone else taking a domain with the same domain name but differ TLD(top level domain).
SO overall I would like to say, I dont know how long this website has been on air but so far its doing good and I like the design but not everybody is on facebook all the time so they should find better ways to get their website to new customers, because i think their main advertising platform is facebook. But all in all it is a good website and has a really good future ahead of it, looking forward to see it compete with the other players in the free Ad listing websites in Tanzania.
