Rais wa Côte d'Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, amekubali kujiuzulu kwa Waziri Mkuu Robert Beugre Mambe pamoja na serikali yake siku ya Jumatano, kwa mujibu wa taarifa kutoka ofisi ya rais.
Hatua hiyo inafungua njia ya kuundwa kwa serikali mpya kufuatia uchaguzi wa wabunge uliofanyika Desemba 27.
Taarifa hiyo ilieleza kuwa hadi atakapoteuliwa waziri mkuu mpya na wajumbe wapya wa serikali, waziri mkuu anayeondoka pamoja na mawaziri wake wataendelea kushughulikia shughuli za kawaida za serikali.
Chama tawala cha Rais Ouattara, Rally of Houphouetists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP), kilipata ushindi mkubwa katika Bunge la Taifa kwa kushinda viti 197 kati ya 255.
Uchaguzi huo wa wabunge ulifanyika baada ya uchaguzi wa rais uliofanyika Oktoba 25, huku baadhi ya mawaziri wanaoondoka wakichaguliwa kuwa wabunge, na Bunge jipya linatarajiwa kuzinduliwa rasmi katika siku chache zijazo.

Côte d'Ivoire’s President Alassane Ouattara accepted the resignations Wednesday of Prime Minister Robert Beugre Mambe and his government, according to a statement from the president’s office.
The resignations pave the way for a new government following legislative elections that were held December 27.
The statement said that pending the appointment of a new prime minister and members of the government, the outgoing prime minister and members of the government will be responsible for handling current affairs.
The ruling party of Ouattara, Rally of Houphouetists for Democracy and Peace, secured a majority in the National Assembly, winning 197 of the 255 seats.
The elections came after presidential polls held October 25.
Several of the outgoing ministers were elected to the National Assembly, which is set to be inaugurated in the coming days
