As the clock ticks me off this merciless world, my head bulges to a point I'm afraid to keep on containing these emotions, ideas and thoughts that have all this time been floating around my mind.
As a matter of fact, It hurts to the innermost sentiment of my heart when I wake up and see students going to school, day dreaming the visionary fantasies of a luxurious life after studying to higher levels. If you ask a child about what does he/she want to become when he/she grows up the common answers will be fields with a lot of money, so as to be rich.
The question is: Is our education system promising to fulfill these children's dreams?
When I look at the students in their eyes, I see the eagerness for changes, development, grinding poverty into pieces and nurturing their own selves for greatness. Why can't we help them get rid of their tragedies, instead of making them escape the realities! Believe me, facing the reality is an essential move towards success. If you keep on nurturing boils, afraid of its painful treatment, a day will come when you'll regret. "If I would have known" would be a hopeless and shameful clause to say.
As educators, rather than building an equation that post-education success = being employed = getting money, let's work together for a revolution. A revolution that transcends the unconscious minds of students, a revolution that can enable them to touch the stars[emoji93]. Light up the world, let your heart speak for your corrupted mouths and stagnant minds...Unveil the hidden truths..
If you're afraid, today, of telling this to him/her, then your own generation will face the consequences of the seeds planted by this contagious disease. As men of peace created Engines of War, Invaders created Avengers. If this is the consequence of what was built by the past, Let's fight to protect the future. The only difference between success and failure is time if we put ourselves into this. Together, we can inspire galaxies of greatness for generations to come (Donovan Livingston). The problems with the education system in our country is: There are no ways a student is prepared to be self employed, have further technical and intellectual abilities apart from regular studies... This costs us a lot and will always hinder us opportunities at the large scale market

Our education system tests our claiming capacity, not our intelligence.

We're loaded with lots of stuff that's not applicable in our real life.

How will Archimedes principle help my little brothers in kolomije?

What's the use of newtons third law of motion to my little sisters in nangwanda?

We need an education system that suits our environment.
Forestry, fishing, mining, and other art works!

Trust me, we don't need astronomers. We just need good farmers and fishermen!

I'm not saying that we don't need physics. And I'm not saying that we need it either!

Good night folks!

Mtu anayetaka kusoma anasoma mpaka asindwe mwenyewe.

We can even make changes on this same curriculum and be better

There are better performers with great visions and ambitions than those at the schools you've mentioned. Tanzanian government, where are you?

Language is the foundation of knowledge and skills. Unless Kiswahili is used to secondary levels the changes you are speaking about are reduced to naught

This is perfect idea...this is what I call democratization and localization of the knowledge and skills.
It meaningless to teach me shipping industry in Japan instead of sisal agriculture ( or any other skills ican apply ) which is in my locality.
We were taught and still our children are taught irrelevant skills and content through unmastered language resulted to cramming information to reproduce during exam sittings and be unfit upon completing schools.

Its obvious uni graduates do not go back where they were born( if in rural areas) because they find themselves unfit of the enviroment.
