From March 1 to April 4, China has exported 3.86 billion masks, 37.52 million protection suits, 2.41 million infrared temperature detectors and 16,000 ventilator units totaling $1.45 billion (¥10.2 billion).
EU countries have been fighting shortages of medical devices and protective equipment, resulting in medical staff potentially exposed to higher risks of contracting Covid-19. The US is also suffering from shortages of medical gear, and has even been diverting shipments of vital protective masks from its allies.
