The OS which relies heavily on swipes in its UI instead of buttons...and it will run on any hardware designed for Android.

moja ya makampuni makini yanayoamua kwa tahadhari na kusimamia maamuzi yao.
kama kwa calc. zao wanaona 2014 ndio ripe time its well and fine. Ina maana unaamini kabisa hawakuwaza unachosema?

Pia kuna likes za Tizen ambayo ni Intel/Samsung,kuna Jolla/Sailfish ambayo na yenyewe imekua demoed juzi. The timing was not perfect for them kwa kweli...by the time it reaches the consumers Android and iOS will be far ahead interms of software..hardware they can always catch up. Watarealease images za kuflash kwenye Gnex cku sio nying and we will see if its worth it...but for the video I've seen its verry laggy...

It seems most of you guys don't know what the stuff Ubuntu is.

Try to geek with the command line first to whet your appetite:

$sudo apt-get install the stuff

$sudo app-get install whatever the hell

May be try to run the monster_code in c++

$g++ program.cpp -o program ./program

Oh please this one

$cd the stuff

$ python the_stuff.py

I can't wait to geek with smartphones. I better leave my girlfriend and not Ubuntu if I had one.

Windows have been there for centuries, anyway they never make any difference but Ubuntu does!

The esteemed Ubuntu Community is smarter, it never comes with a trembling idea. Wait and see.

kurun kwenye galaxy s2 sio ishu maana hata htc hd2 inarun os nyingi tu hadi windows 8 rt. Hata nokia waliitest firefox kwenye raspberry


Firefox na android ni vitu viwili tofauti kuna post nilielezea kuhusu hii os. Jua kwamba itatumia html5 na javascript kuunda hii os na kudevelop apps japo ni linux based haimaanishi ni kama android.

Hii os ina vitu vitatu
gonk-ambayo ndo ina linux
gecko- ambayo ndo app runtime inayotumia html5, javascript na css.
Gaia-ui ya firefox os.

Wakitaka hao firefox watatengeneza hizo linux based apps lakini kwa sasa still wanaendeleza project yao ya B2G ambayo kirefu chake ni boot 2 gecko na ukirefer maana ya juu ya gecko utakuta inamaanisha boot 2 html5, javascript, css so twende huku turudi kule firefox os sio android na hazifanani bali ubuntu ndio wanafanana na android.

hapa tunazungumzia firefox os (operating system ya simu) na ubuntu ya simu na sio firefox ya pc na ubuntu ya computer
