Dr Sanjay Sharma revealed “one or two players” were due to have tests on Monday but now the whole of the squad wants to have the tests.
Sharma also stated incidents such as Muamba’s are uncommon, telling Sky News: “These cardiac arrests in young people are very rare, they affect about one in 50,000 people.”
The test will examine if there is any damage in the heart muscle.
Meanwhile, Muamba remains in a critical condition in the London Chest Hospital in intensive care and no change has been reported in the last 24 hours after the midfielder was medically sedated.
Family of the former Arsenal man have been to visit him along with colleagues including Johan Djourou and Jermain Defoe.
