Police in Mitooma District have arrested three secondary school administrators over allegations that a Senior Four candidate missed his Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations despite paying the required registration fees.
The suspects are Jason Ahereza, headteacher of Nyakihiita Secondary School; Abias Mujuni, deputy headteacher of Mayanga Secondary School; and Ambrose Centenary, headteacher of Rwakitanda Secondary School.
The three are being investigated over the circumstances that led to the candidate missing the examinations despite reportedly fulfilling the registration requirements.
