There is empirical evidence that among knowledgeable Tanzanians, Kikwete has just 20% support while Slaa has 75%. That was established via opinions polls on the Daily News and Jamiiforums websites.

Mtu akienda mkutano wa CCM kupokea kanga au t-shirt ya bure wewe unachukulia kwamba anampenda Kikwete? Anapenda hongo za Kikwete, ila kura ataweza kumpa Slaa. Anafahamu fika ni fedha za uma zimechotwa kununulia hizo kanga na vitenge.

Kwamba watu wa vijijini can be easily deceived by CCM and they know nothing better when comes to choose their leaders. This fallacy is so pervasive amongst many Chademanistas humu ndani. THATS A FACT. Its elitism in a good way. It hurst for CCM follower lakini ndio ukweli kwamba class hii ya watz kwa kiwango kikubwa HAINA UFAGIO KWA CCM. Ustaadh---we might disagree on a lot of things, but we should be able to agree kwamba JF poll and Daily News poll are unscientific and inaccurate. I don't deny kwamba the cyberworld (not the real one) prefer Slaa than Kikwete, but that doesn't allow us validate an inaccurate poll.

If you ain't a member of JF, you can vote on that poll as many time as you wish. And even if you are a member, but if you haven't logged in yet--you can still be able to vote as many time as you wish. Kaka, sasa where is the validity of that poll.

Ni kweli kwamba kuna serious flaws..lakini it is what is there and what we have, kibongobongo. Kama kuna mtu ana-abuse hiyo polling inaondoa ladha lakini we still get the larger picture..
