The last sentence a 3-year-old Syrian said before he died: “I’m gonna tell God everything”

And that’s equally haunting. It’s impossible to verify but the picture tells a story about the pain and suffering that exists in Syria right now. There are many in the media who would like to say this is because president Bashar al-Assad is a ruthless killer. And that’s half true. Like other government leaders – he has engaged in war and with that war has come the death of tens of thousands and the displacement of over 1 million Syrians now living in refugee camps.

But this hasn’t always been the case. This is the inevitable result of a covert war being waged by the U.S., Israel and other Sunni countries like Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Our interests in taking down the Syrian dictator al-Assad are all about geo-politics. If we take out Syria – we neuter Iranian influence in the region. It has gotten so bad that al-Qaeda is now fighting on the same side as the United States government and Bashar al-Assad and his government are fighting al-Qaeda. And Syrians are all the victim of this massive global covert proxy war.

It has gotten to the point where we don’t even know if the chemical weapons that were used in Syria were the result of al-Qaeda or the Syrian government. When it comes to matters of intelligence and propaganda – it’s very hard to discern truth from fiction. But no one can deny that Syria was a very stable country until we decided to go in all guns blazing. We’re not bringing democracy to the world – that’s the sound of imperialism baby.

Ukiacha ujumbe huo wa mtoto, comment za wasomaji katika mtanda wa Daily Mail zimenivuta hsa hii:

Edgar del Olmo · Chief Executive Officer at Barril de monos
It's amazingly brave this days to publicly expose US blunt imposition of its imperial objectives over seriously outgunned countries. Specially when it's so clear and undeniable as it is in this case. I really hope every American could read and fully understand the deep implications of this statement because it is true: perfectly peaceful nations all over the world can be singled-out by the US Government as anti-freedom, dangerous or plain terrorist to validate outrageous attacks to crush them into surrender, forcing less-than-democratic rulers into power and starting up cruel regimes that allow the American interest to prosper in the region against the well being of the local population.

This war isn't new: Since the imposition of the Israeli Nation over the Palestinians, Western interests linger over the entire region disguised as righteous moral duties. History shows us the facts: First US was against Iran, then helped it against Irak, has always provided for Israel against the Muslim world and went all the way into blowing it's own Twin Towers to keep the war machine running, but not even that awoke its citizens.

In the Middle-East, it's all about oil and gas, water in the region and, ultimately, it is also about an unbelievable sense of right Americans cast all over the world and over themselves. That is the way of the Empire: the rich and powerful setting the rules over the inferior. But last world-wide empire lasted a couple of centuries. Today, China remains dormant, India refuses to yield, even North Corea has a fist in the air. This one is no different than any other historic empire except for the weapons at hand and we can only hope the planet will endure its childish ways.

Only time will tell. One day, against all its fear and willpower, the US will be nothing but an entry in history records and all that will remain will be the cold numbers: since the demise of the Native Americans, the preposterous amount of blood that fed the tyranny of what came to be the Democratic empire. Syria will then be nothing but cruel statistics, just as Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Nicaragua, Cuba, Vietnam and the many more that followed. People from the future will ask themselves in horror: "How come they all allowed it?"

Internet links us all together and lets us ask a global question: seeing that no government is good enough, and no race nor society nowadays is perfect, or has ever been in the history of mankind, does this means we're trapped into the Imperial circle until one day the las of all the empires will find the perfect weapon to blow humanity into oblivion? Are we that unable to shed off the fear, the rage, the selfishness, that all that will remain of us will be layer over layer of endless war? Are we that incapable of peace?
