Nilisha onya watu kwamba ndugu zetu hawa ni janga wa kanda yetu hii ya Afrika Mashariki na kati - wamezoea mambo ya kuendesha kila kitu kijeshi jeshi tu, kwa hiyo kila Taifa within their so called domain (ndoto tu zao za mchana) ni fair game kwao, sioni kama kuna dalili zozote za kuheshimu Viongozi wenzao, majivuno tu - watu hilo hawalioni!!!
Wewe Mnyarwanda we don't mind on the false federation which you have formed. We have adequate experience on such issue, note that the name Tanzania came because of the union between Tanganyika and Zanzibar, we know the problems of uniting countries. do you know why EAC was disintegrated? History always do repeat we are watching you very closelyUmeona eeeeeh...your leaders make decisions for their own benefit and not for the benefit of Tanzanians... Itawagharimu sana. The indecision is more costlier.
The same applies to the other countries. The benefactors always will like to preserve their status quo. Open your eyes!!
Let them integrate!
Believe me these leaders are basing their decision on intuition, excitement and overlay optimism. There is no fundamentals!
Ask how many years it took for Europe to become EU, with all their civilization and stability it took them ages. Imagine these 3/4 leaders who are not even well acknowledged in their home land want to come together so quick!

here are few things that i know:
TRUTH of the matter is, its not us who needs them, but its them who needs us, Tanzania ilikataa kujiunga nao koz ya masharti au baadhi ya vipengele ambavyo vilikuwa vinamlengo wa kukandamiza watanzania almost kwenye kila angle...pamoja na baadhi ya sababu binafsi zilizowafanya viongozi wetu kudelay kukubali hiyo federation, binafsi, nawapa hecko.....as we r not ready....and tutaishiwa kunyonywa......
- kenya haina ardhi, kuna matabaka mawili, wenye nacho na wasio nacho, ina "wasomi vyeti" ambao hawana ajira, ina raslimali chache...imeendelea kiuchumi..but uchumi wake unadepend kwenye vitu vichache sana na ambavyo si endelevu i.e havitokuwepo in the next 100 years..ina ukabila....e.t.c
- Uganda, like kenya, haina ardhi, pia, haina wasomi, ni masikini sana..out of resources..uongozi wa kibabe usiokubalika na wengi..haina mvuto katika anga za kimataifa..pengine ni coz ya kutokuwa na raslimali.. na matatizo mengine mengi
- Rwanda, well, as Rwanda...always ni opportunists...they go where the flag goes....hapa tunamkuta kagame, mana ndiye rwanda...the guy has blood all over him...he believe hawezi kuwa chini ya yoyote hususan wahutu..rwanda kuna ukabila, umasikini(though imeanza kuimprove but not the level of individuals), haina ardhi, inaendeshwa kidikteta, ni masikini...e.t.c
- Burundi...as all above though hii nchi ni worse zaidi......
- Tanzania........wow......has almost everything kasoro wasomi na viongozi walio tayari kuitumikia nchi yao,....
dont think for a second, mnyarwanda hatamani kuishi sehem ambayo ataruhusiwa kufuga ng'ombe zaidi ya mmoja, ama mkenya kupata sehemu atayoweza ajiriwa na kufanya kazi...wanataka ardhi yetu, uchumi wetu, kazi zetu...na madem zetu..................................:smile-big:
International policies don't come out of the blue my friend,They originate from the economic and security demands of a given country.If we make economy as our priority number one then we will find ourselves looking at potential opportunities where our economy will prosper luxuriously and these opportunities are the Countries around us.Where will we sell our services & products to?How will we know that we are good enough to compete in the International markets if we don't have economic interaction with other Countries?Don't take it too lightly my friends....We are losing an opportunity to make mistakes,learn from these mistakes and become stronger than ever.Many people who are successful in life have achieved that in the hard way.How long will we continue to fear competition?

there are few stuff in your arguments. Dou want to tell us that eac is the only geopolitical arena to trade with? How about drc?, sadec? Ecowas? Madagasca?, comoro? Etc. What you are missing are grounds that led tanzania hesitating to fast tracking. If you know these factors you would agree with your colleagues
