STK v AVL
Fixture
Saturday 6 April 2013 | Britannia Stadium | Kick-off 22:00
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis: This league is relentless. It doesnt curry favour with anyone. If you are not onit, you get punished.
Team news: Winger Matthew Etherington is Stoke's' only doubt after he sat out last week's 1-0 defeat at Everton with a groin and back complaint for which he is currently receiving treatment. Pulis, eager not to rush Etherington back into action too soon, will make a decision on the player on Friday.
Stoke City (from): Begovic, Sorensen, Cameron, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Whelan, Nzonzi, Walters, Kightly, Etherington, Jones, Whitehead, Crouch, Jerome, Adam, Palacios, Shotton, Shea, Wilson, Owen.
Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert: Press conference to follow.
Team news: Defender Ciaran Clark remains a major fitness doubt after suffering a shoulder injury while on international duty for the Republic ofIreland and was ruled out of last weekend's home setback against Liverpool. Midfielder Brett Holman (hamstring) is available but defenderChris Herd and winger Marc Albrighton (both foot) plus defender Richard Dunne (groin) remain on the casualty list.
Aston Villa (from): Guzan, Given, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Lichaj, Stevens, Baker, Bennett, Sylla, El Ahmadi, Ireland, Westwood, Dawkins, N'Zogbia, Bannan, Holman, Benteke, Agbonlahor, Bent, Bowery, Weimann.
