Six arrested in Ibanda over suspected stolen goat meat

Police in Ibanda District have arrested six people in connection with suspected stolen goat meat.

The suspects are being held at Ibanda Central Police Station after they were allegedly found in possession of meat believed to have been obtained from slaughtered goats.

Police are investigating the circumstances under which the goats were slaughtered and the source of the meat.

The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
