Unpaid Item Policy

Committing to buying items and not paying for them will eventually have negative effects on your account. We highly advice you to pay for an item once you have gone through the Buy Now process.

You will have a 20 day period to do so.

Excessive unpaid item cases will result in a range of consequences, including limits or loss of buying privileges, suspension or termination of your account.


Feedback Extortion

Threatening to use negative feedback toward sellers for not providing services that aren’t part of the original product listing is strictly prohibited. Such as:

• Goods or services that weren't included in the original item's description or purchase price.
• A return, refund, or replacement of an item.
• Other improper interests

If there is a problem with a transaction, you can use the Buyer Protection to protect yourself, and work with the seller to resolve the issue.

Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don't, your Feedback may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including restrictions of your buying privileges and suspension or termination of your account.

Rules About Abusing The Buyer Protection Programs

If you have a problem with a purchase you made, you can let us know. We don't allow buyers to abuse the buyer protection programs. Such as:

• Opening a case when you've already received a refund
• Opening a case as retaliation against a seller
• Making false claims are considered a form of abuse of the buyer protection program.

What Are The Guidelines?

Allowed

• Opening a dispute after you didn't receive the item and you haven't been able to resolve the issue with the seller
• Opening a dispute after the item you received didn't match the description in the product listing

Not allowed

• Claiming an item hasn't been received when it has arrived.
• Claiming an item is significantly not as described when the item condition is consistent with the description in the listing
• Opening a case when you have already received a refund from the seller or reimbursement from your payment provider
• Opening a case against a seller to retaliate following previous disputes
• Threatening to open a case against a seller in order to get a discount or additional goods and services, when the item arrived in the described condition
• A pattern of excessively opening buyer protection cases.

Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don’t, you may be subject to a range of actions, including restrictions of your buying privileges and suspension or termination of your account.


Rules About Communication

Your communication with sellers via email, trade manager or Community discussion boards should comply with our communication rules.

Members can send messages to each other through Aliexpress. We encourage open communication between our members.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Spamming
• Buying or selling items outside of AliExpress
• Threats, profanity, or hate speech

Shill Purchases

Purchasing items with the sole intent to help increase the seller page/product ranking is called “Shill Purchases”, and it is against our policies. This rule applies to family, friends, roommates, employees, and online connections.

Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don’t, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits of your buying privileges, suspension or termination of your account.

What Are The Guidelines?

Not Allowed

• Using multiple accounts for the sole purpose of purchasing the same products
• Buying an item from someone you know in order to artificially increase its order volume or search rankings


Feedback manipulation

Of course, we don't allow manipulating Feedback or detailed seller ratings (DSRs) in any way.

You can't leave Feedback if you're only doing it to help increase a seller's Feedback score. This is a type of Feedback manipulation and is also not allowed. Aliexpress' Feedback system allows members to rate each other after a transaction has been completed.

To make sure this system runs as smoothly and as fairly as possible, we have rules that must be followed.

What Are The Guidelines?

Not Allowed


• Exchanging Feedback for the sole purpose of increasing a seller’s Feedback score, getting website privileges, or enhancing a seller’s reputation
• Manipulating another member's detailed seller ratings (DSRs) through a combination of repeat purchases and low DSRs to reduce another user's Feedback scores, or showing a pattern of leaving positive Feedback with consistently low DSRs
• Offering to pay members for their user ID
• Offering to sell, buy, barter, or give away Feedback
• Working with other members or registering multiple accounts to artificially increase a seller’s Feedback score
• Other improper interests
