Rumour:

Pepe has been linked with a return to Porto from Real Madrid, though the wages he receives at Santiago Bernabeu might get in the way.

Porto President Jorge Pinto Da Costa confirmed he would like to bring back some of the club’s previous big names, but might not be able to afford to do so:

“We must be realistic. Earning more than €5m complicates everything. I still hope someday Pepe can come back, but I can’t guarantee it,”
