Real Madrid continue preparations ahead of the Rayo game

The squad trained at Real Madrid City and continued their preparations ahead of Sunday's La Liga clash with Rayo at the Santiago Bernab?u (4pm CET). Rafa Ben?tez called upon Real Madrid Castilla's Marcos Llorente and Lazo for a session in which Toni Kroos, recovered from flu, worked with the rest of the team. Dani Carvajal and Raphael Varane, who trained by themselves on the pitch, are still making their ways back from injury.

The intense training session got underway with a warm-up routine that incorporated ball work. Following on from that, the Real Madrid players carried out various possession and pressing drills before performing attack-defence exercises. The session concluded with some demanding games on a small-sized pitch.
