Casemiro got a knock yesterday and it was not serious but still Zidane is not going to take any risks. He will miss Real Madrid's next league game on Wednesday.

Modric is not included in the squad for facing Villarreal because we have 3 Matches to play in 7 days Villarreal tomorrow, Las Palmas on 24th and Dortmund on 27th. It is a huge task for players to play and play with the same intensity.
Modric is a very important player and his fitness is very vital. Zidane is trying to avoid the situation like happened to Carlo's last season when Modric went out injured. We have a very talented squad with players filling in the place which Modric resting and providing us the same quality if not more e.g James, Isco and kovacic. Zidane knows his moves.
