A little sleep, a little slumber,
A little folding of your hands
To sleep on dressed timber-
So shall you lose your friends.

A little longer hours of sleep
A little delay to wake up,
In the morning, after sleep,
To you poverty shows up.

A little neglect of your duty,
A little negative attitude
And avoiding a responsibility,
You lose people’s gratitude.
