Kwakua imeandikwa hapa kazi tu!?

Haha
"Hapa kazi tu" ni neno kama watu wanavyo andikaga "In God we trust" na maneno kama hayo kwenye vyombo vyao. Mteja wa hiko ki vessel anaweza kuwa mtu yoyote from any where.

hahah when a Kunyan brags of building a barge for Tanzania! A simple fact a barge is a marine vessel that does not have a motor engine and there is no way a company in Tanzania can't build a simple structure like that! Songoro marine builds several complete ships and it could be they r having so many projects to have declined a project for 2 non motorised badges meant for Tanga port a proximity to Mombasa!

Its like a Tanzania making noises because Songoro marine was issued a tender to rehabilitate Kilindini and Harambee ferries.

In March, KFS said it had spent Sh172 million to renovate the Kilindini and Harambee, barely 10 months after they had been repaired, raising questions about the extent of the repairs done during the last dry-docking.

The state agency used Sh110 million to rehabilitate the old Kilindini, which was taken out of service for the better part of 2018, while the rest was spent on the Harambee.

The 29-year-old Kilindini had 70 per cent of its deck replaced with new material. New prows were supplied from Tanzania by Songoro Marine Transport after another firm, Dresden Laubegast, lost the tender to supply spare parts.

Jealousy will kill you! Try to educate your people to be able to undertake such work instead of pouring useless infantile emotions. We have built it for you, now go and put to good use. If it breaks down bring it back we will repair it.

Okay first
a) You have no idea what you are talking about. A barge can be towed or self propelled with light diesel engines.
b) songoro marine builds and repairs boats not ships they do not have that technical know how.
c) seco engineering has built land crafts and tankers not to be compared with a boat (I know you will be confused by this)

Below is a tanker and landing craft built in Mombasa
Alpha Kirawira is a multi-purpose support vessel, that also doubles up as a Tanker and a Landing Craft, designed and built at the SECO shipyard, Mombasa for Alpha Logistics Services (EPZ) Ltd

That is a boat not a ship. It can be built by any non starter economy. Uganda has also built some of their own boats for transportation on lake victoria
