OBAMA SAYS CHINA HAS BEEN FREE RIDER FOR 30 YEARS AND NO ONE EXPECTS CHINA DO SOMETHING TO THE WORLD

In the case of Iraq, people are always looking at Obama's words and deeds, and China is currently the largest energy investor in Iraq,

Obama replied that China is indeed "free riders", "they take a ride for 30 years, and it has been no problem."

He said he sometimes joked, "We can be like China a little bit? Nobody expect them to do anything."

Obama said, which is why people are always looking at the United States, rather than China.

THAT WAS AN INTERVIEW DONE BY NEW YORK TIMES 8/8/2014.IN MY OWN VIEW I DID NOT LIKE THE BAD WORD "FREE RIDER" WHICH OBAMA USED. IS IT TRUE CHINA HAS BEEN A FREE RIDER?
That is obsurd, atleast China make promises and they deliver example let's just look at Chinese investment in AFRICA.The fact is US is the one which started wars in Iraq may be its time they deal with the consequences of the wars while China are busy doing business and making huge investment in the whole world. However China should also participate in making peace in Libya since they have invested hugely but US should not expect CHINA making airstrikes to Isis that will never happen.China are best in settling conflicts by peaceful means including dialogue,arbitration,mediation and negotiation but not getting into wars.

No Chinese investment in Africa has ever provided any good paying job to an African; especially in Tanzania. If you can prove otherwise, please show the evidence.

Obama is trying to make a point..though....Is like US is worrying too much about his future economy. US knows that CHINA economy is growing fast, and probably by the end of this year. China may take a lead....

However As China'economy growing tall, i expect, He will find himself immersed into many conflicts and disputes with many more countries in the future.

The way China handle conflicts may also be the reason.
China looks like free rider. But Russia moves are almost the same when it comes into dealing with conflicts.
China never critized Russia over Ukraine interference, China never condemn Iran, China expects other countries to do the same to him. China is in conflict with Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, India, Russia, Japan, and Russia remained mute.
No doubt, as time goes on and an increased interdependent among nations of the world and China will cause the China systemic moves to blowup and collapse.

Ushahid huo utatusaidia kujiuliza kwa nini miradi mikubwa Tanzania inaghalimiwa na World Bank au ADB wakati ina investments nyingi za china zinazoiingizia kodi kubwa! Pia itatusaidia kuiuliza serikali yetu inakuwaje inakosa mishahara wakjati inapata kodi kubwa kutokana na investments za China?

It true and very true Chines are opportunists they just wait for a mess in a rich resourced country and squeeze in for resources as a free rider. They just wait and you with a very bad system of investment bringing in almost every employee from China.
