Today at Luzira Upper Prison and Luzira Women's Prison, we checked on our comrades, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, Eddie Mutwe, Achileo Kivumbi, Bobi Young, Bobi Giant, Saudah Madaada, and Kaija Doreen.

They appreciate you all for continuing to demand for their freedom. They are very strong, knowing that their present persecution is not on account of committing any offence but born out of the regime's fear of their work and effort.

This morning, we’ll be at Nakawa magistrate’s court where Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro was charged with another offence of inciting violence!!

Later in the afternoon, we shall be at Mbuya 1 to launch his campaign for the position of Nakawa East MP.
Even though he is incarcerated because of persecution (not prosecution), we shall hit the ground on his behalf.

The National Unity Platform 🏖️ 🇺🇬 💕

This morning at Kitalya Mini-Max Prison, we checked on comrades Machete Yasin, Kalanzi Sharif, Kintu Abdallah, Gibusiwa Abdukarim, and Mwase Patrick who are in detention for 5 years. (The other 4 were recently transferred to Luzira Upper Prison). We also checked on comrades Mugumya Gaddafi and Wakabi Grace Smart who were transferred to Kitalya this weekend.

Instead of transferring their files to ordinary courts as commanded by the Supreme Court in January, regime operatives have intensified pressure on them to plead guilty to crimes they did not commit if they ever want to be freed. They have told us that the regime has been sending to them operatives on almost a weekly basis, asking them to write apology letters to Gen. Museveni and commit to supporting him when they get out. What a country!!!
