Ndege ya Rais Marekani Air Force One imelazimika kurudi kwenye Joint Base Andrews kutokana na “tatizo dogo la umeme,” kulingana na Afisa wa Ikulu ya White House.
Rais wa Marekani Donald Trump bado anatarajiwa kwenda Davos, Uswis na amelazimika kupanda Ndege ya akiba.
Kulingana na taarifa za Idara ya Waandishi wa Habari za Ikulu, Msemaji wa habari Karoline Leavitt alisema kuwa Kikosi cha Ndege kiligundua “tatizo dogo la umeme” na kimeamuru Ndege irudi kwa tahadhari ya ziada.
Taarifa za kufuatilia Ndege kwa mtandao (ADS-B Exchange) zinaonyesha ndege iligeuka juu ya Bahari ya Atlantiki karibu na Montauk, New York, karibu na ncha ya Mashariki ya Long Island.

US President Donald Trump has resumed his trip to the Davos forum, an AFP journalist saw, after a minor electrical issue forced his presidential plane to return to its air base.
Trump and his entourage changed planes at Joint Base Andrews and took off again shortly after 5 a.m. GMT (7 a.m. Israel time), about two-and-a-half hours after his initial departure.
