Police in Murang’a County have arrested a 60-year-old man who allegedly defiled his 10-year-old daughter. The man was arrested after teachers realised the girl was having difficulties walking.
The incident that occurred at Kiarutara market in Gatanga Sub-County shocked residents after the minor, a Standard Four pupil, revealed that indeed she had been defiled by her father. The girl is said to have recounted her ordeal to her teacher.
She also claimed the suspect warned her against telling anyone about the incident. Residents condemned the act and later launched a hunt for the mason.
