A domestic quarrel between a wife and husband turned tragic after they slipped and fell into an open pit latrine while fighting in Kangemi.
According to neighbors, Peter Nyamache Makori, 27 and his wife, Clarence Chepkurui, 24, had differed in their house before they argued and started chasing each other.
However, they slipped and fell into a 12 feet open latrine and lost their lives.
“As Nyamache chased Chepkurui, she ran to where an open latrine was that has been serving as a sewage for the residents of houses here. She fell in and we suspect the husband tried to go for her leading to his death too,” An eye witness said.
