Habari vijana wenzangu,

Naitwa Padri Mcharo (as long as niko JF)

Straight to the point:
Last week niliweka hapa tangazo la ajira kwa vijana wenzangu waliosomea issues za Networking and IT in general. Kama hukuona rejea hapa:

Mwanzoni ilitakiwa iwe intership but nilifanikiwa kuwa convince hawa Wazungu "top management" kuibadili na kuwa formal employment kwa kuwapa reasons kibao za uongo na kweli mfano:
-Hali ya kiuchumi na maisha nchini kwetu ni ngumu kijana kufanya kazi (hata kama anajifunza) bila malipo, kwa muda wa miezi sita.
-Kutokana na ugumu wa ajira uliopo naamini vijana tutakao waita watakua na morally ya ku capture vitu kwa haraka (during 2 months intensive training) hivo kuwa productive within a short period of time. Basi ni vema tukawalipa motisha. Nakadhlika Nakadhalika.

Mwisho wa siku baada ya uongo na kweli mwingi walikubali.

Nami bila hiyana, nikaomba nipewe hiyo kazi ya kutafuta vijana hao (kwa sasa wanahitajika 6, japo baadae demand itaongezeka kutokana na projects za kuanzia mwakani)

Tangazo la kazi niliweka humu JF na sikuliweka mahali pengine popote.
Ningesema niweke kwenye website ya kampuni (na kwa sababu ni Int. organization) hata foreign candidates (KE, UG, RW, SA etc) wangeona na kuapply sababu kwenye vigezo hakuna Citizenship criteria.

Watu wame apply ndio. Zimekuja applications kama 50 hivi.

Lengo la mrejesho huu ni kuwapa vijana elimu kidogo katika issues za ajira.

Nimegundua kwanini wabongo tunapigwa gepu na wakenya (ni mfano tu) kwenye soko la ajira. Hatuko serious from since the initial stages za application.

Umeambiwa tuma CV pekee kwenye PDF format, watu kibao wanatuma CV in doc format badala ya PDF (mwajiri akiwa strict umekwenda na maji).

Mbili:
Umeambiwa tuma CV pekee, Watu wanatuma CV pamoja na ma vyeti ya secondary na vyuo.
Mtu anatuma CV, Degree certificate, CCNA certificate, MCP certificate, Linux cjui imefanyaje huko. Yaani vurugu.

Shortlisting ilitakiwa kuanza kufanyika leo, bahat mbaya niko Joh'burg kwenye training niko tight kidogo, narudi bongo Jtano. Hivo mpaka kufikia Ijumaa hivi nitakua nimekamilisha compilation ya 15 canditates (out of 52+) ambao majina yao ndio yataenda kwa Management kwa ajili ya Oral interview.

Baada ya Oral, successful candidates ni mkataba (jamaa hawana longolongo).
