Mr President, I have listened to you on the speech you gave to the nation concerning The Corona virus Pandemic.

You have detailed certain measures on how to curb this pandemic on our part. You have said that we shouldn't abandon prayer houses as prayers are vital to get rid off this tragedy.

But let me tell you one thing Mr President. You are a Catholic but you will never be a Catholic more than the Pope himself.

The Pope outlined measures very clearly on how He will engage the masses and he swiftly chose to self distance from the masses to protect himself from the infection and to protect the masses from the same. What do you think, are you more faithful to GOD than the Pope?

In Islam, there is no a holly Mosque than the mosque in Mecca where the Kaaba is, It is a mosque where if you pray your normal prayer is worthy 1000 prayers prayed in any other mosque, but due to this tragedy, this mosque has been shutdown. Mr President do you think Tanzania Muslims are true Muslims than those in Saudia Arabia?

Authorities in Jerusalem have shut down the western wall, they have shut down Temple Mount (Masjid Quds). These are holly sites than no other in the World, but they are shut, not because people don't want to worship God anymore but because God has taught people not to Kill themselves thinking that they are working for him!

Even men of God when they were going to war they were wearing protective gear and sharpening their weapons, they were not relying on blind faith!

Mr President, your statement puts you in a very tough position because if the situation gets worse you will be seen as a very strange person to walk back on your own words by ordering the shutdown of those places.

Mr President, Half measures are no measures at all. On the Issue of closing borders you are again half right but half wrong, You are half right because well you can isolate people coming from outside and observe their situation in 14 days. But you are half wrong because Corona virus is very tricky, some people just show mild symptoms and go away but they are potential carriers, So if those mild symptoms had already been exhibited themselves before coming here, once they are here these people may seem to be fit and pass through those 14 days without showing anything but If you go ahead and release these people in the streets, they will start infecting people.

A more alarming thing is, These viruses tests are not 100% correct, many people who test negative, can test negative consecutively even after three test only to test positive the fourth round. This shows you that, at the moment you may quarantine people, test those who show mild symptoms, get negative results, and let them go in the streets after 14 days, only to allow them spread the virus!. The nation can't afford any wrong approach, It is time to get this thing right!

The other thing which you need to think about Mr President is, Your refusal to close borders today will not deter other countries to close their borders on us when the situation gets worse here. Think about this sir

Those Economic calculations that you have on your mind forcing you to be reluctant to take swift measures to fight this virus fully throttle will backfire on the very economy you are trying to protect. Which tourist will come to Tanzania when people start to die in thousands?. Why don't you sacrifice tourism of today for the benefit of tourism of tomorrow?

You said that Corona virus with all its wide coverage is not a thing to make us panic, but do you see news how the medical systems are overwhelmed, how economies go in limbo, you see those hundreds of coffins in Italy every single day, do you still take half measures and play down this tragedy?

Mr President, This thibg started in Asia, came to Europe and it is making Inroads in Africa. If you don't guard today, Tanzania will be Italy of Europe or Iran of the Middle East. Those countries you see taking extreme measures on this issue have learnt a great deal on countries that acted quickly on the matter when it first broke out in China, but those who thought can manage by doing things half-half are paying a heavy price right now

Mr President, if you see militaries unleashed in the western nations cities know that this thing is no nonsense. Normally it is extremely rare western nations to release armies in their streets, but if you see this thing happening there then this is a tragedy of an epic proportion, a once in 100 years may be.

Mr President, close those borders now, this could be the last plea before things go out of control!

History will judge you on whatever steps you take on this matter!

I am not good in language but what I note is that , your just tying to advice Mr. president to watch much more on health of his people by defending them and not protecting the economy.

In economy we call scale of preference (what to choose & what to scarify ). To my side your too right bro because economy is the result of skilled & health manpower of the concerned national. if you have unhealthy man power don't expect to have strong economy. For that time global is experiencing Covid 19 is better to protect your man power.rather than to try to balance.

Kwani buroo kiswahili chako ni kichache kama cha sisi wasukuma?
Umenipa wakati mgumu sana kutafuta wakalimani. Uwe unatufanyia wepesi sisi la NNE pia wasukuma.

Magufuli hakusikiliza ushauri na sasa niliyoyaonya ya sisi kufungiwa mipaka baada ya sisi kuanza kuwa epicentre ya huu ugonjwa kwenye ukanda huu wa Afrika mashariki yameanza kutokea.
