The Brazil star - who has been linked with moves to Napoli and Villarreal - believes the Reds are heading in the right direction under their new boss and sees his future on Merseyside.
"I have no reasons to go and I hope the club see things the same," he said. "It would be fantastic to play for Liverpool in the Champions League again and I don't see why we can't return.
"Kenny Dalglish was unbelievable as a player, but he has also made an impression on me as a manager. He has rescued our confidence and at the same time he has helped us think a bit better."
The 24-year-old also revealed how the Scot helped inspire Liverpool's 3-1 defeat of Manchester United earlier this month.
"During the week of the game, Dalglish talked about the possible United line-ups and made sure we understood how important it would be for us to give them some of their own medicine," he added.
"He went on and on about suffocating them in midfield. We had a great afternoon doing what he said. His mantra is: make it simple and work together."

United have Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley enjoying successful seasons at Sunderland and Wigan respectively, while Federico Macheda is currently plying his trade at Sampdoria.
Ferguson is sure the youngsters will enjoy a prominent role in the first-team squad next season and claims sending players out on loan will always be a good learning curve.
"They will come back into the first-team squad and they will get plenty of games next season," he told United's official website.
"They are part of the band of young players coming through at this club. They will all come back in.
"At that point, we will then review our squad because that's the important thing. But we will always put players out on loan.
"Cleverley has done very well, particularly in his spell at Watford and then at Wigan. He has improved in each case and he is going to be a top player.
"Welbeck has been fantastic too, it's just unfortunate that he picked up a bad injury. But they will all be ready for next year."
Ferguson also revealed that Senegalese striker Mame Biram Diouf will return from his stint with Blackburn.
He added: "Mame Diouf has done well at Blackburn too and he'll come back in. They've all done well.
"It proves we were right in putting them there in the first place.
"For them, it's that experience of being exposed to regular football that really brings them on so that they are ready to play for Manchester United."

The England Under-21 star has spent the season on loan at Sunderland and has been an immediate hit on Wearside with Cats boss Steve Bruce thought to be keen on making the deal permanent.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is determined to hang on to the 20-year-old but Welbeck insists he will wait until the end of the season before deciding on his next move.
"I've not really thought too much about what I'm going to do, but I've really enjoyed my time at Sunderland," he said.
"It has benefited me massively, just to be around with the big boys week in, week out. I'm delighted with that, but the end of the season will be the time to sit down and think about the future.
"I'm like anyone else, I want to play every week. Football is my job. I like training hard and then playing in games, but we will just see what happens in the summer."

Photograph: Oleg Popov/Reuters England's position in Group G was strengthened when Bulgaria and Switzerland drew a blank in Sofia. This limp draw left both sides six points adrift of Fabio Capello's side and Montenegro.
Lothar Mätthaus's Bulgaria took on a Switzerland side coached by the former midfielder's one-time Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, but neither pupil nor master could get the upper hand. The most notable moments of the game came when Alexander Frei was twice denied by the home goalkeeper Nikolay Mihaylov.
The Bulgaria captain Stilian Petrov became the second player from his country to have earned 100 caps, following the Bulgarian Football Union president Borislav Mihaylov, who picked up 102, but was unable to inspire his team to their first home victory over the Swiss.
Bulgaria, chasing their first home win in the qualifying campaign, began brightly with Ivelin Popov shooting just wide in the first minute and Dimitar Makriev going close with a header. Petrov, the Aston Villa midfielder, could have marked his century with a goal but shot over the bar after a fine solo run and cross from Popov.
Switzerland also had their chances, with the captain Frei's bullet header being parried by Mihaylov on the half-hour.
Bulgaria were again the livelier side after the break and Stanislav Manolev went narrowly wide with a header, while Spas Delev tested keeper Marco Wölfli with a snap shot from the edge of the penalty area.
With both sides desperate for points, the game ebbed and flowed in the closing stages. The defender Ivan Bandalovski looked to return Wölfli's punched clearance with interest, but his effort bounced wide, and then Blerim Dzemaili's fierce shot was headed over by Kostadin Stoyanov before Gökhan Inler almost grazed the post with a low drive.
Bandalovski intervened again to deny Eren Derdiyok a sight of goal in the dying minutes, and Mihaylov fended off a Mario Gavranovi shot at the death.
