I feel too much attention is being paid to the product (President Kikwete) and not much is paid to the process of making that product (the making of a president Kikwete).
The former is simplistic, bent on shelving blame on one party and ultimately person.
The latter is a critical examination of Tanzanians as a society, their limitations, oversights, pitfalls and bottlenecks, and hopefully the identification of some much needed requisite remedies.
Dwelling on the former will not give us the paradigm shift to attain the escape velocity from this vicious cycle of bad leadership and endemic blame game.
The latter however, has potential to enlighten us beyond the myopia calcified by our current quagmire.
The CCM is messing up our country, and who is going to clean their mess?

Even as some attention is naturally due a Head of State. I am inclined to observe the disproportionate diction accorded ours.
I feel too much attention is being paid to the product (President Kikwete) and not much is paid to the process of making that product (the making of a president Kikwete).
The former is typically charecterized by a simplistic, uninspiring scorn bent on shelving blame on one party and ultimately person. With neither grand design for triumph nor enough unorthodoxy to uproot a whole system and culture, as opposed to a mere person.
The latter is a critical examination of Tanzanians as a society, their intrinsic limitations, artificial oversights, self inflicted pitfalls and uncharted bottlenecks, with some hope for the identification of the much needed requisite remedies.
Dwelling on the former will not give us the paradigm shift to attain the escape velocity from this vicious cycle of bad leadership, lack of education, physical maladies, poverty and endemic blame game. I added bad leadership to the classical Tanzanian three enemies as popularized by Nyerere, and of course the blame game is in the DNA of the myopia we are trying to escape.
The latter however, has potential to enlighten us beyond the myopia calcified by our current quagmire.
The president abjured the evil policies to antipathy the buddies cajoled. As such, his cupidity desiccated the contumacious for pragmatic. And to be honest, his abaxial jaspideous may dactylomegaly sooner than expected!
