Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez has requested a move to Manchester United, according to reports.
The Colombia international has fallen down the pecking order at the Spanish giants since the appointment of Zinedine Zidane in January.
He was overlooked for their Champions League final victory over fierce rivals Atletico Madrid in May and has featured sporadically so far this season.
Rodriguez had previously been a starter under previous bosses Carlo Ancelotti and Rafa Benitez.

According to Spanish newspaper Diario Gol, Rodriguez has told agent Jorge Mendes he wants to move to United in order to work under Jose Mourinho.
Mendes also happens to be the agent of Mourinho, as well as United star David De Gea, and has previously negotiated with the Premier League side for the likes of Radamel Falcao, Nani and Anderson.
