Libya are in Uganda for Tuesday’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier against the Uganda Cranes at Hoima City Stadium.

Uganda will co-host AFCON 2027 with Kenya and Tanzania, with the tournament scheduled for June 19 to July 17, 2027.
Libya head coach Youssoupha Dabo praised Uganda’s hospitality, saying:
“Just like Tanzanians, Ugandans are kind people with a good mentality. You deserve to host AFCON 2027 Tournament. You believe in fair play and enjoy life.”
