Laser op. for cataracts

Mzee wangu (74) ambaye late mwaka jana around October alikuwa diagnosed with NIDDM (Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus) today had his eyes examined at KCMC and lucky he hasn't got diabetic retinopathy but has well developed 'cataracts' in both eyes and they proposed a non-invasive op (without cutting) using laser. The procedure costs 500,000/- for each eye.

I was wondering whether there another hospital in TZA where this procedure is performed.
