-Take your amount that HESLB have offered you lets say 3,952,500.

-From such amount you have to minus with Meals and accomodation money which is approximately to 1,800,000 for all loan benefeciries.
(3,952,500-1,800,000=2,152,500)

-From that remained amount you should minus books and stationary allowance which is Tshs 200,000 to all loan beneficiries.
thus (2,152,500-200,000=1,952,500)

-Then the remained amount must be omitted with Field allowance(if there is any in the 1st year) which is approximately Tshs 600,000 to all loan beneficiries.
thus (1,952,500-600,000=1,352,500)

-Now this remained cash Tshs 1,352,500 is for tuition fee,to know the percentage of it, it's just a simple task..take the tuition fee of your course for the whole academic year lets say it is Tshs 1,750,000...

1,352,500 divide by 1,750,000 then times 100 there you will obtain the percentga that the Loan Boaard have offered you..
