Tetesi: KQ yaongeza Hasara mara mbili hadi Ksh 7.5b kutoka billioni 4 mwaka jana😆😆

Hahahahaha, doesn't matter how you call it, so long as it achieves the goals, which are
1) To provide better and affordable air transport services inside and outside the country
2)It is operated profitably
3)It gives dividend to the Government
4)It stimulate our economy by bringing more tourists and investment.
These are our goals, we will achieve better if it will be 100% owned by Government like Ethiopia Airways.

ATCL is not operating profitably. It is not giving any dividend to the government.. actually it is taking money out of the government.

Also, Ethiopian may be 100% owned by the government, but it operates like an airline. They take in debt and borrow loans. They lease planes.
They have an order of about 50 planes. You think their government is the one which placed this order?

Sasa kama hizo gharama zote zipo chini, vipi KQ inaendelea kupata hasara year in year out?, basi ninyi ni failed state original, kama mambo yote hapo ni OK, but nothing works, then ninyi Mungu amewalaani.

https://www.fixusjobs.com/kenya-airways-kq-salaries/

Hahahahaha, modality ya ET na ATCL ni sawa sawa, it is 100% owned by Government but is semi autonomous.

ATCL has never bought even a spoon or plate on their planes. All money comes from the government.
All ATCL does is haemorrhage money and come back to Magufuli with another bowl.

They are much better off than a certain national carrier that has a negative equity. To clear any doubt; negative equity means total liabilities exceed total assets.
Or put it this way; mmoja ni mgonjwa lakini mwingine kafa.
Alokufa liabilities zake zina exceed current assets kwa Tshillings ngapi?

Hongereni Tanzania Kwa kuipiku Marekani na kua na the best economic model!!!!

Meanwhile, Equity bank buys Tanzanian bank - https://www.businessdailyafrica.com...h10bn-deal/4003102-5094148-7tdxy5z/index.html

Alafu usisahau Safaricom wanatangaza full year results this week. Safaricom utakumbuka mwaka jana ilipata faida kubwa kuliko top 10 companies in Tanzania combined.
Sisi tunalinganisha serikali ya Kenya na Tanzania, acha kulea uvundo, serikali yenu imejaa wakikuyu acha kukimbia ukweli, acheni ukabila anzeni kuandamana serikali yenu inawaibia mchana kweupe.

Very dumb people in Tanzania. Including the 'economists'.
Comparing 9-month losses to 12 month losses.

https://www.the-star.co.ke/news/2019-04-30-kenya-airways-reports-sh59-billion-net-loss-in-2018/

Even so, the airline’s management has defended the increase, stating that financial year 2018/19 covered 12 months compared to nine months the previous year.

"This therefore means that the 2018 results are not directly comparable with the 2017 results as it is a representative of 12 months against the 9 months in 2017," Chairman Michael Joseph said.

Ahaaa haaa haaa
Those are laymen arguments.
