Kagame sends out warning to dissenting RPF cadres

Ndani ya Mada yako zipo dhamira zilizojificha kama hiyo niliyosema.

Dhamira ipi hiyo uliyosema? you just accused me of not being Tanzanian, presumably you meant i am rwandese. Then if that is the case what am i doing wrong by discussing "my president"? wewe rudi kwenye topic, whether iam Tanzanian or Rwandese should not be a matter to you. Ningeleta mjadala criticizing Obama, ungesema mimi sio mtanzania?

All i did was to spark a debate around a published article which is there for everyone to see. This is what JF international forum is about.
On the other hand you call me "interahamwe" without any proof. Hapo nani anahitaji medical attention?
intarahamwe!... subiri hapohapo utaitwa sasa hivi genocidaire..chezea pk?

The country was recently ranked as the most competitive nation in the East African region largely because of its superior political stability.

According to a report by the World Economic Forum (WEF) on Global Competitiveness which gages the competitiveness of 144 nations cantered on 12 pillars that include institutions, infrastructure, health and education, labour market efficiency, innovation among others, the East African nation was ranked favourably in its flair to entice and retain foreign investment compared to other countries.
Teddy Kaberuka an economic analyst in Rwanda believes the country has earned its third position within sub-Saharan Africa and 62 countries worldwide.
“I think one of what has been achieved and everyone can see is in different aspects of the report. If you can remember all the indicators that have been placed, things like health, education and the standard of living in Rwanda experienced tremendous changes within those sectors. As well as governance, people really enjoy the governing structure. People are given a chance to participate in the governance of the country,” Kaberuka said.

Rwanda move up on the Global Competitiveness Index

Rwanda moved up four places in the annual Global Competitiveness Index, keeping its position at the front of the most competitive economy in the region and third on the continent.

The country which is committed to sustainable economic growth has made impressive progress in rehabilitating and stabilising its economy. Rwanda’s swift and positive actions taken by the government has ensured the country maintains a decade-long period of strong economic growth with its impressive GDP growth has often been approximately 8 per cent.
“With the economic development plan for Rwanda, there is a lot to be done especially in the sector where Rwanda ranked very low. In the next report Rwanda will perhaps rank higher than it is now,” Kaberuka said.
Rwanda launched a medium-term strategy, the Economic Development Poverty Reduction Strategy which gives a clear direction on how the country can become a middle income country.

The Country got backing earlier in the year on a renewed commitment by the World Bank to scale up its support to its economic strategy over the next four years. This commitment will see the country receive between 200 million US dollars and 250 million US dollars extra funding per year to aid the country’s economic growth.

Rwanda: At Big RPF Meeting, Kagame Denounces Indisciplined Party Members

By Shyaka Kanuma.
At the meeting of the extended RPF Politburo on Sunday in Petit Stade, the small arena at the Amahoro Stadium, President Kagame pulled no punches denouncing those party members who would sacrifice the safety of the country at the altar of their greed, egos and arrogance. The President, who did not name names, talked at length about how the RPF has built Rwanda, taking it from the precarious situation it was in 20 years ago to the growing, stable and prosperous country it is today.
Hence today, said the head of state who was clad in a dark RPF party tee shirt and dark casual trousers, strong institutions are in place to deal with all kinds of issues, including dealing with whoever may undermine Rwanda's safety and with it the gains the country has made. "We used to be in the bush, and indiscipline in the RPF was dealt with even then; now we are working in the context of a nation; there are national institutions, courts of law, and they will do their work properly and deal with those indisciplined party members," said Kagame who was speaking in Kinyarwanda.
"Let it be clear, whoever you are, no matter what you think you are, or what a hero you try to make yourself out to be, the country owes you nothing!" Kagame said.
"All of us Rwandans, none of us owes anyone a debt (and I am not talking about money which some of you may owe others!)" The President then, on one of those intervals when he slipped into English added, "The only thing anyone owes Rwandans is to let them be. That is the right of Rwandans, each and every one of them. To be."
The meeting, which went on for almost six hours also saw reports of RPF achievements and gains in areas like youth-oriented programs, followed by a presentation by venerated elder RPF cadre and founding member Tito Rutaremara on the character ad virtues of a good member of the party. Rutaremara's lecture however wasn't a haranguing of party members on what they should be, but rather he lighted up things by punctuating his talk with jokes and tongue in cheek references to a few examples of quirky acts by Rwandans when they go about their duties. For example the Rwandan official who has to hand in a report, but knowing he or she hasn't completed or done their work properly: "ibi turebe uburyo tubitekinika!"
It is an inside joke only Rwandans know, and it and other like that had the audience roaring in laughter and clapping in applause long and loud. Humor is alive and well in Rwanda's ruling party.
But mostly it was a serious gathering with very serious matters to contemplate.

kama kawaida unaogopa hata kuni-quote properly, unaogopa kitu gani? Anyway nimeona hii post yako kwa bahati mbaya so let me reply

1. yes numbers don't lie but you do, lets read something from what you posted:

"Teddy Kaberuka an economic analyst in Rwanda believes the country has earned its third position within sub-Saharan Africa and 62 countries worldwide. "

"renewed commitment by the World Bank"

2. The Governor said Rwanda's economy has continued to recover from the slowdown it went through in 2013 growing at 7.4% in the first quarter 2014 and this is because of the high increase in the credit to private sector as a result of the bank's accommodative monetary policy implemented since June 2013 plus the fiscal liquidity injection.

Mimi sio mchumi lakini ninachofahamu ni kuwa "growth" inayosababishwa na na mikopo ya benki ya dunia + measures from central bank sio growth ya ukweli. vile vile its good to hear from you what happened in 2013 that slowed down Rwandan growth.

Unaongea uongo ndio maana hata ku-mention watu properly waje wajibu unaona aibu.

1. Nimetoa habari gazeti la THE EAST AFRICAN, gazeti ambalo liko so close to Rwanda mpaka kuna section yenu peke yenu on their website. Narudia tena kupost the link here so everyone can see: Kagame sends out warning to dissenting RPF cadres - News - www.theeastafrican.co.ke.

2. wewe hiyo habari yako unayodai ndio ya ukweli mbona hauna link? imetokea wapi?

Thanks for the compliments, at least zi fare better than your masters, and, You havent answered my questions peanut brain!

"Those who give us aid, where do they get the means? Aren't they human like you and I? If you perceive yourself as poor, you will remain poor. If you believe yo...u are worth more, you will achieve more. Dignity is about saying no to always being the recipient of help. It is about being determined to achieve self reliance.
Our role as leaders is to deliver a better future. Your role is to demand accountability. We know our past but today we look forward towards a prosperous future for this generation and the next."
– President Kagame speaking to thousands of residents in Gikomero sector, Gasabo District.

Asanteeeee mkuu...
