Iran's claim of successfully sending a simian to space may have been nothing but monkey business.
Observers called into question the truth of Iranian reports early this week that a monkey-manned rocket called Pishgam (Pioneer in Farsi) was launched 75 miles above Earth.

"The monkey, which was sent in this launch, landed safely and alive and this is a big step for our experts and scientists," defense minister Ahmad Vahidi had boasted.

But the before and after photos of the purported space primate show two seemingly different apes, experts and amateurs noted in several online reports Friday.

The one shown in official photos before the launch had a conspicuous red mark above the eye, which disappeared in those depicting the animal that returned.
In addition, no footage of the rocket returning from space were made available by the official Iranian news agencies that tooted the scientific triumph.

Here's one we prepared earlier....... Honestly isn't it time the scientific world grew up and stopped subjecting innocent animals to these disgusting practices. There are plenty of deserving humans who could benefit science by risking their necks. Our jails and Westminster are full of them.

Mbona mushkeli huu uisha elezewa kwa kirefu kuwa mwandishi mmoja wa Press TV alichanganya picha ya nyani wa jaribio lisilofanikiwa (file photo) na ile ya hili. Iran ilifanya majaribio mawili ya kupeleka nyani kabla ya hili ambapo yote hayakufanikiwa. Compare: Marekani katika miaka ya 60 ilifanya majaribio 6 kabla ya kufanikiwa. katika majaribio hayo sita nyani wote waliungua! Nothing new, isipokuwa kwa mtu kichwa hewa na asiyejua historia ya safari hizi za anga za nje.

Mankind are monkey's incarnate as empirically exhibited by c darwin in evolution of monkeys. So I am not shocked to see Iranians using c darwin's theorem to justify intelligence of Allah's creation.

It is amazing when the scientists are diabolically using primates to better an intricate mankind, inter-alia, the same scientists are calling and comparing Africans with Monkeys!!! ...that makes a lot of sense.

It is bemoaning pathetic as it is irascibility melancholy.

This poor mans version of a Russian SU47 will never take off the airframe looks as though its been glued together, there is more seems than an obese woman's dress, this pirce of junk would not evade my iphone let alone serious radar.

Yet another F5 airframed bollywood style mockup/cockup.

Thus this plane may be just a local adaption of the proposed MIG LMFS or SU47, or a cover story whenever Iran gets some Russian built MIG LMFSs. I suspect most of the electronics is going to be Russian anyway (Siberia has become a electronic hot bed over the last 10 years), plus the engines.

One set of pictures showed a relatively dark-haired monkey. Another showed a different monkey - strapped in a pod - that had light grey hair and a distinctive red mole over its right eye.
The photos stirred questions on the internet, with people joking on Facebook that the monkey "went into space and met a doctor who removed its mole," an ironic reference to some Iranians passion for cosmetic surgery. 'Archive photo'
Mohammad Ebrahimi told the The Associated Press news agency that the monkey who travelled in space was named "Pishgam," the Farsi word for pioneer.

Ebrahimi said one set of pictures showed an archive photo of one of the alternate monkeys. He said three to five monkeys are simultaneously tested for such a flight and two or three are chosen for the launch.

Finally, the one that is best suited for the mission and is not stressed is chosen for the voyage.

State TV pictures seen by AP show the dark-haired monkey before and after the space flight, but a package of still pictures released by authorities showed the other monkey with the mole.
"I say this with certainty that the monkey is in good health and the space flight didn't have any physical effect on Pishgam," Ebrahimi said.
"Some of the photos released by one of news agencies were not related to the time of flight. They were archive photos of the monkeys being prepared for the launch."

Jonathan McDowell, a Harvard astronomer who tracks rocket launchings and space activity, also said this week's monkey space flight was real, but he had a slightly different explanation for the photo mix-up.

He claimed the light grey monkey with the mole died during a failed space mission in 2011.
"The monkey with the mole was the one launched in 2011 that died. The rocket failed. It did not get into space," McDowell said. "They just mixed that footage with the footage of the 2013 successful launch."

Iran has never confirmed that a monkey died in 2011, or that there was a failed mission that year.

It was never exhibited nor proven, it was just a theory which was never/have never been proven scientifically neither by Darwin no anyone else to date. Maybe your forefathers were monkeys but suddenly not me.

Can it be proven scientifically? I doubt. So, what exactly do you mean by "They, the scientists, are not doing for them, they are doing it for the betterment of mankind"?

How will they better your life through primates? Or it is the same hate towards black Africans?
