Installing additional domain 2008r2 to an exisiting domain 2003

I want to install addional domain with os 2008r2 to an existing server 2003 pdc but whenever i run dc promo i end up in this error.

The following error occurred when DNS was queried for the service location (SRV) resource record used to locate an Active Directory Domain Controller (AD DC) for domain "tz.earo.crs.org":
The error was: "DNS name does not exist."
(error code 0x0000232B RCODE_NAME_ERROR)
The query was for the SRV record for _ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.tz.earo.crs.org
Common causes of this error include the following:
- The DNS SRV records required to locate a AD DC for the domain are not registered in DNS. These records are registered with a DNS server automatically when a AD DC is added to a domain. They are updated by the AD DC at set intervals. This computer is configured to use DNS servers with the following IP addresses:
10.60.72.10
- One or more of the following zones do not include delegation to its child zone:
tz.earo.crs.org
earo.crs.org
crs.org
org
. (the root zone)

Mkuu nadhani DCpromo ina stage kadhaa kabla a ku run . Sasa je hiyo error unaipata atika stage gani. I mean ni mwisho kabisa au katika stage za kati kati eg.

Lakini kwa haraka haraka naona tatizo linajielza kuwa ni DNS. Yaani hiyo mashine unayotaka kuimpromote kuwa AD haitambui au haioni DNS server. Inawezaesa kuna setting za kuchange kwenye DNS server Na kabla sijaendeleaaa na bla bla kibao za kubahatisha..............

Vile vile Kama alivyosema hapo jamaa kuna comment kama hii niliyokutana nayo forum hii ya mambo ya kitekniki ya microsoft bada ya ku google.

You can add Windows 2008 R2 DCs in windows 2003 Domain. But you need to upgrade (ADPREP) the schema first before introducing the first Windows 2008 R2.
Make sure to use correct version of ADPREP from the windows 2008 R2 CD:

Pia pitia na maelezo ya wtaalam hawa. Japo hawauwa wanataa Ku dc promo lakini maudhui ya eero ni yale yale . So

ikikusumbua zaidi ni pm kama nitakuwa na muda naweza kuja tujaribu jaribu ilipo server hiyo week end hii. Just missing ku click click ma server

Kwenye domain controller setup kuna option ya kuchagua between online domain controller na local domain controller

Ikiwa una setup online/public domain controller lazima domain name unayotumia iwe registered kwanza (available to the internet) otherwise local domain controller should work without setting DNS
