Job Title: Horticulturist
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Job Summary:​

We are seeking a Horticulturist to help improve plant growth, yield, and quality. Horticulturist will manage gardening operations, care for various plants, and lead research efforts to optimize crop development.

Key Responsibilities:​

• Oversee care and maintenance of gardens and horticultural operations.
• Assist in preparing the horticultural budget.
• Fertilize plants, including turf, flowers, and trees.
• Create schedules for the development and maintenance of landscaped areas.
• Plan and schedule the planting of trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Maintain and clean gardening tools and equipment.
• Propagate plants from seeds or cuttings.
• Provide plant care advice to team members and clients.

Qualifications:​

• Cerificate or Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture or a related field.
• At leasr 1 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage people effectively.
• Proficient in writing reports.
