Haemoglobin ya nguruwe inawekwa kwenye filter za sigara kuzuia kemikali zisiingie kwenye mapafu ya binadamu. Habari ndo hiyo.

University of Sydney professor, Simon Chapman, said recent Dutch research had identified 185 separate industrial uses for a pig – including the use of haemoglobin in cigarette filters.

The protein, found in red blood cells, increases the effectiveness of filters in trapping harmful chemicals before they enter a smoker’s lung, the research showed.

This information might actually be useful in reducing smoking among (true) muslims and jews; saying this on cigarette packages sounds like a good idea

There is no maybe, some cigarettes contain pork blood. The study looked at the uses of pork, not measuring filters after they were used.
