kenyans may be proud but they are showing voice of reason.they have put data and endured tanzanians abuse yet they still call you "brothers".kenyans dont really need tanzania,(and im not even east african my gairlfriend from zanzibar had to translate the sawhili).kenyans have a trade pact with sudan and ethiopia.thyre better off education wise, economically.they have survived corrupt govts, economic mismanagement and frozen doner aid.and they have come on top, unlike the other two countries who beg the west for everything.
the main reason EAC broke up waz:
1-kenya was capitalist.tanzania was socialist.you can never reconcile these two opposing ideologies.
2-tanzania had a maoist leader who believed in equality, justice and progress.uganda had a savage dictator who killed with indscretion.
nyerere hated kenyan capitalism and called them hyenas.yet when years later even to buy toilet paper tanzanians had to go to Nairobi.thats why he stepped down.but he was a great visionary.the reason why tanzania does not have tribalism like kenya is because of the community spirit that came with ujamaa.
nyerere hated Idi Amin and his brutal regime.they never saw eye to eye.in both these equations, tanzania is common.so stop blaming kenyans for everything.
from the replies i have read here, tanzanian replies in general are just emotional utterances full of negativity and "victim mentality".kenyans have demonstrated confidence(not arrogance) and they know their faults and although they have not appologized, they use reconciliatory language for the most part.and facts and figures to back it up.
think big, tanzanians.you are using village mentality."emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds" bob marley.redemption song.

They can remove their investments in tanzania and invest somewhere, like somalia, ethiopia, sudan etc. Surely this man doesn't know what he is talking about. I am sure he doesn't own even a kijiko cha chai. The owners of those viwanda anda investments in tanzania will skin him/her alive. that is blasphemy. Kenyans, do not cheat yourselves. You need us more than we do to you. So, there is big infrastructure project to link lamu. That's very good. Go there then. The war lords in Somalia would like it. So do the janjaweed in sudan. they will enjoy your goods, they will protect you and your wealth with guns and bazookas. You don't have to worry my dear kenyan. You go there and enjoy the life of hell!
