South African traditional DNA test.

This is a common practice by the Zulu people of South Africa. Also practiced in Zimbabwe and Lesotho.

The cows approach cautiously and harmlessly to inspect and sniff the baby. If the baby remains calm through the process, it belongs to the family. But if it get frightened and start screaming (crying) it does not belongs to the family.

The study also indicates that it’s 99.99% accurate.

Interesting Africa 😁
