A senior officer attached to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations has surrendered in Naivasha following the murder of his wife in Roysambu, Nairobi.
The 43 year old woman was found dead in her apartment along Lumumba Drive with multiple stab wounds. Police from Kasarani Police Station recovered a blood stained knife believed to be the murder weapon.
She was last seen during a video call with her daughter before she stopped responding to calls. The officer is expected to be transferred to Nairobi as investigations continue.
